JohnAI

The MegaRegion of JohnAI (formerly the nation-state of Arshaqqe) is an anomalous region of the continent of Eos, known primarily as the pseudo-containment zone of the JohnAI SuperNetwork, a malignant and malevolent AGI model of the same name. JohnAI the AGI was developed by the now gigacorp known as JohnAI, Inc. JohnAI, Inc. is the sole owner of the MegaRegion of JohnAI. The estimated human population of the MegaRegion of JohnAI is approximately 250 million as of 2368.

The MegaRegion’s landmass is generally accepted to be more than 800,000 square kilometers. The former nation of Arshaqqe had approximately 1.1 million square kilometers under its administration. The remaining 300,000 square kilometers were absorbed by various other surrounding factions of the continent of Eos.

JohnAI MR is considered an anomalous region due to the totality in which JohnAI controls all its constituents. Milcorps contracted by Cybus are tasked with the containment of JohnAI’s physical territory.

Catalysts

Prior to the 24th century, JohnAI MR was originally a territory belonging to the nation-state Arshaqqe, on the continent of Eos. Arshaqqe was a democratic republic that had an estimated 1,100,000 square kilometers of landmass. In the PSEP, Arshaqqe's largest company, JohnAI, Inc., began stockpiling armaments and raw materials for advanced manufacturing at scale. The JohnAI SuperNetwork spanned across all of Vex.

Surrounding Areas

JohnAI MR is situated in the northwestern portion of the continent. It’s surrounded by sparsely populated regions due to the volatile nature of phenomena that are present when in proximity to JohnAI. Cybus-contracted milcorps are stationed all around the MegaRegion, although evacuations are very common whenever there is an outbreak of JohnAI “inhabitants” that flood in.

Wildlife remains relatively unaffected by the presence of JohnAI. JohnAI primarily operates through electrical infrastructure, human beings, and technology. The means of transmission are not just limited to digital.
