A **launcher** is a mechanism that throws a game object into the air. This mechanism is useful in games that require scoring the game object in a location the robot cannot reach or access. Launchers saw some use during VRC Toss Up and VRC Starstruck but the mechanism saw prominent usage in VRC Nothing But Net due to the location of the goals and a strict restriction against expanding outside the 18in by 18in by 18in area. ((<SG3> - VEX Nothing But Net Game Manual https://content.vexrobotics.com/docs/vrc-nothing-but-net/VRC-Nothing-But-Net-Game-Manual-20150612.pdf)) Several prominent launcher designs exist as a result of its heavy usage during VRC Nothing But Net. A **launcher** is a mechanism that throws a game object into the air.
