Republic of the Eos Collective

The Republic of the Eos Collective was a hegemonic nation-state encompassing the envelope of the continent of Eos. Established in the early 20th century after the Industrial Revolution, the Eos Collective became a formidable global superpower due to rapid domination in air and naval superiority over its counterparts. By the end of the 22nd century, the Eos Collective was the most populous nation-state in all of Vex, with more than 5 billion citizens. The nation-state, along with the concept of nation-states altogether, dissolved in the mid 23rd century, in the year 2252, amidst the unprecedented pressure imposed on nation-states by giga-corporations (gigacorps). The wealthiest, most powerful, and most important city of the Eos Collective was its capital city, Velv, located in the state of Paragus.
